Having learned about the journey of the soul in Bodh III, the focus of Bodh IV is now on purifying the innermost layers of our consciousness. These core layers are located around our soul and store our deep-rooted blockages and karmic imprints, from our current as well as our previous lives.

Just as we are unable to permanently remove deep roots and weeds from a garden, it is not possible to remove our deeply rooted blockages on our own.
